Circuit

In bouldering, "Circuit" refers to a series of climbing problems or routes set up within a specific area, usually grouped by difficulty levels. Climbers attempt to complete all problems in the circuit in one session. The concept is popular in gyms and outdoor climbing areas, helping climbers build endurance and skill progressively.

Examples

In a bouldering gym, Sarah tackled a circuit, which involved climbing multiple routes in quick succession. She started with an easy V1 to warm up, moved to a challenging V4, and finished with a tough V6. Each route in the circuit tested different skills, from endurance to problem-solving. The goal was to complete all routes without a long rest, mimicking the conditions of real outdoor bouldering where several stones might be climbed back-to-back in a natural setting.
